Not losing my goals and dreams to anyone else.…I became Bethany as I read because this book is written with unmatched skill-- every word is a deep dive into Bethany's thoughts and emotions. I did not read this story, I lived it inside the character from numbly eating empty carbs to grabbing and paint can, strapping on running shoes,stepping on stage and finding purpose in each color sprayed in her backyard, I lived every page of Paint the Grass and was changed by it. It held me captive from page one to done. I read it in one day!…Even after I read it I still turn to scenes or pages that were my favorite just to give myself a boost of strength on my doll-drum days. This book is life changing. Bethany-charging! The powerful feminine gospel of finding who you are again in such a fun story. If you are reading this HR Thank You!! I am convinced you actually know and interviewed the real Bethany Taylor to write with such authenticity and insight into my soul!! Thank you for every beautifully written page. This book changed my life and will change many more. I will never forget Paint the Grass.And will have my daughter read this someday and her daughter and so on. Powerful words for a powerful story. A wonderfully uplifting book with a unique angle!

This book is SO good! It had me laughing by page 2, knowing for certain this book will be made into a movie by Chapter 2 and feeling validated and seen as a Mom and Woman by prior to Chapter 4. Every woman should read this book, it is refreshing, real, clean, humorous, and eloquently written. This book is going to become a staple at book clubs for years to come!! The book is as beautiful as the cover art - you will not regret reading this book!!Thank you H.R. Boyd for creating a masterpiece for women of all ages to enjoy!

I absolutely loved the book "Paint the Grass." Bethany is so relatable and inspiring. I foundmyself rooting for her and wanting to be more like her. The writing style of the book wasfantastic as well. I enjoyed all the characters and didn't want to put them down. I found myselflaughing out loud at some parts, and tearing up at others. I would highly recommend this book toany woman of any age. It was both fun and emotionally engaging. "Paint the Grass" is relatable,inspiring, and a true joy to read. I can't wait for book 2 and in the meantime, I'm going to go dosomething new and amazing, just like Bethany :) .

An absolute 10/10 if not more. This book will give you goose bumps and leave your jaw hangingopen with wide eyes at every turn of the page. Bethany’s journey reminds the reader to enjoy lifeand to spread love. The author has arranged her words in a the most captivating way that keepsthe story moving quickly and doesn’t have a single lull. Coming from someone who is incrediblypicky with her reads, I couldn’t put the book down. The array of raw emotions this story evokedfrom me was addictive. I just put the book down and I’m ready to open it back up to page one.

I read this book in two days. I first sat down to read the first page and the next thing I knew I was two chapters in and late for work!This book is for anyone who is in love with life, or wants to be again. I’ve worked really hard to live a life like the main character and I can’t tell you on how many levels she validated my own choices and experiences.There are so many things in this book that resonate deeply. I laughed, happy cried, ugly cried…So many important reminders, especially to hold onto myself.After finishing it I feel so connected to our shared experiences of being a woman, the magic of it,and so surrounded with peace.I have a feeling it’s one I’ll return to and read again and again when I need it… to be reminded of how important it is for me to take care of myself first, how much magic I can still make in mylife, how much power for creation and passion I still have inside of me.In love with this book. Read it and be rejuvenated.

An empowering and emotional journey! A beautiful and well written book that had me forgetting about everything else and wanting to know how Bethany would be painting the grass next! I loved the relatable character and her journey to remember just who she is and her courage to really live her life.

This book gave me such insight into overcoming trials in my life. All you need to do is paint thegrass! Such a fun and simple concept for such a wonderful book. I feel like Bethany (the maincharacter) is my spirit animal. If you haven't purchased this book, do it right now! The words arebreathtaking and life changing.

This book will give you all the feels! Paint the Grass came highly recommended by a friend so I thought I'd give it try. It did not disappoint!! I literally could not put it down! H.R. Boyd is an amazing writer and does an incredible job of evoking every emotion from her readers. Women everywhere will relate with Bethany's story. This is one of those books I will read over and over again! LOVED it!

What a great book. So many emotions you will go through. So well written with such great characters that you will either love or hate. Everyone women should read this. I actually received this as I was leaving on vacation & couldn’t put it down. Finished it before I got home. Can’t wait for the next book.

What the actual heck! I laughed, I cried, I wanted to defenestrate Bethany’s husband into the neighbor’s perfect flowerbed, it was wonderful!I felt so many different emotions through Bethany. She is so authentic and relatable. I loved her goals and it was so easy to get wrapped up in her. Talk about girl power! Love love LOVE!

First, this is women's fiction rather than romance, which is slightly outside my normal reading.Having said that, I enjoyed this immensely. There were moments in this story that tugged painfully at my heart because I totally related to the emotions Bethany was going through. My husband has never done what her does, but there are still times when I've felt so lonely right beside him that I could barely stand it.However, this book isn't really about sadness. It's about a woman taking back her life and figuring out what she wants and where she will make a difference. It's about empowerment and the lifting gift of sisterhood. I found myself setting my own "paint the grass" types of goals as Iread.Remember what I love, do something scary, show kindness, and be happy being alone are just a few of her daily goals. Every one of them is an exercise in self-evaluation and a potential for growth and deeper happiness.I give Paint the Grass by H.R. Boyd 5 stars and a CLEAN rating.

My sister handed me this gorgeous book and said it's a must-read. She was right. I started in immediately and, despite my busy schedule, was finished in 4 days. The story is captivating, the characters endearing, and the writing style draws you in from page one. I could easily make a list of 25 reasons to read this book!

It's such a good and heartfelt story - all about resiliency and the power of finding the inner-strength to step out of one's comfort zone and continue to give to others even when everything has gone sideways. It made me cry, laugh, cheer, and remember the power of friendship, loyalty, and kindness. Well written and inspiring, this book is worth the read.
